Singing since the age of seven, Héctor Darío González Aguirre, also known as Vercenzo, has a very rich and diverse background in music that ranges from singing Salsa/Pop music to performing arias by Mozart. A graduate from the University of British Columbia, Vercenzo has performed in several musicals and operas across Canada including the premiere performance of the Song Cycle Elegies by William Finn, chorus in Eugene Onegin, Grosvenor Archibald in the Operetta Patience, Jigger in the musical Carousel and as a solo pop artist in festivals all over Vancouver. Vercenzo’s voice performance career has not kept him from continuing to pursue his love for composition and songwriting. He has composed numerous instrumental and choral pieces and he has also released several singles and music videos world wide at digital retailers such as iTunes and Spotify and is currently working on releasing his first Christmas Album this year 2023.
