Callum Alden, Tenor

Guccio 

Callum Alden is Vancouver born and based tenor. He's sung with a variety of companies across Canada and the US, including Vancouver Opera, Burnaby Lyric Opera, Crescendo Operatic Society, Opera Company of Middlebury, Pacific Northwest Opera, and Bel Cantanti Opera. Role credits include Tamino (The Magic Flute), Beppe u/s (Pagliacci), Daniel Buchanan (Street Scene), Bill (A Hand of Bridge), Guccio (Gianni Schicchi), and Rolf (The Sound of Music). Callum completed his vocal studies at McGill University under the tutelage of Brett Polegato and Stefano Algieri.

Outside of performing, Callum is an active marketing & technology contractor in Vancouver, with expertise in several spaces - tourism, e-commerce, social media, and customer experience. He’s passionate about exploring opportunities to bring this skillset into the performing arts world. He currently serves on the board of directors of Sound the Alarm as a treasurer.
