Anastasia Pyshna is a Vancouver-based mezzo-soprano. She holds her MMus in Opera and Voice Performance from McGill University. Anastasia’s recent appearances include Hänsel in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel with Berlin Opera Academy and Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with Opera NUOVA. This summer she will be singing Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte with the Vienna Opera Festival and she will be also participating in Opera Kelowna’s VOSI Program. Anastasia is an aesthete and traveler, and she is curious to learn new things. She loves history and science books, and she enjoys horseback riding.
