Adam Da Ros, Stage Director

Adam Da Ros is a stage and music director from Dawson Creek, B.C. working at opera companies, training programs, and summer festivals across Canada and the United States. He holds a Master of Music degree in Opera from the University of British Columbia, specializing in stage direction and opera production, and is an alumnus of the Yulanda M. Faris Young Artists Program at Vancouver Opera, where he also worked in the Artistic Planning department for two seasons. He spent two seasons as Resident Artist Stage Director at Minnesota Opera, and two years as Director of the Opera Theatre program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Recent directing credits include Castor et PolluxThe Marriage of FigaroIdomeneo, and Dido|Aeneas for Manitoba Underground Opera, Il barbiere di Siviglia and Madama Butterfly for Burnaby Lyric Opera, and Un ballo in maschera with Opera Mariposa and Heroic Opera.
